Volunteer With Us

Bright Star Ranch is always seeking volunteers to help with lessons, become a mentor, help with special events and so much more! We have a variety of needs, a varying schedule throughout the year and no horse experience is necessary, although we require a volunteer training prior to any volunteer working with clients and horses. Training includes policies and procedures concerning safety and horse care as well as leading or side-walking.

We also provide service hours for volunteering at Bright Star Ranch.
We can only do our work effectively and safely with the help of our volunteer team!

Leader/Side-walker

Volunteer Training will be given in order for individuals to become horse leaders and side-walkers for clients who need support with balance while riding.  Once a volunteer packet has been completed, a training date will be set and volunteers must attend in order to perform these tasks.

Special Events

We have several planned events throughout the year as well as group visits that come up from time to time that all require extra hands. We have fun sharing our space with people in the community and are thankful for those who help us make that possible.
