About Us

Bright Star Ranch, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 2018.  We are a PATH Member Center (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) and a CHA (Certified Horsemanship Association) Member Center dedicated to providing an array of equine assisted services to enhance the lives of as many people as we can. We have two certified therapeutic riding instructors with specialized training in safety and riders with disabilities, along with our trained volunteers to help those with physical, cognitive and social/emotional difficulties to reach their full potential.  We are here to serve a wide variety of groups and individuals in our community and beyond.  

Our ranch is located at 1416 Rowland Road, Monroe, Louisiana, which is a fully handicap accessible facility, and includes a covered riding arena and a 4-stall barn.  Our arena is equipped with a wheelchair accessible ramp and a Sure Hands lift to assist clients when getting on a horse.  

We operate with the help of the community, volunteers and generous donors and corporate sponsors who support our mission every day.  We invite you to come by and tour our facility and get involved in the amazing work we provide.
